The Colorado Rockies Rock Me!

The Colorado Rockies are my favorite baseball team of all time, hands down.
About three years ago, in 2007, the Rockies won the National League Pennant, and went to the World Series. However, that's not why they're my favorite team.
Matt Holliday has a lot to do with why they began being my favorite team. He was a young player when he started out with the Rockies. He was drafted in 1998, and played in his first MLB game in 2004. He played very well for the team, and was even in the Home Run Derby.
In 2009, the Rockies had more runs than any team in Major League Baseball. They also had two very good players: Jason Marquis and Brad Hawpe. They both went to the All-Star Game.
Jim Tracy, who is the Manager of the Rockies, is an amazing guy. He is never afraid to take chances on something that he thinks will be good for the team. He is not like other Major League Baseball Managers who seem disconnected from their team.
Another seemingly simple reason that I LOVE the Colorado Rockies is the fact that Coors Field is their home field. I love Coors field because it's a Major League Baseball field, but it still has that small, homey feel. The Colorado Rockies really make it feel like home, and when you're at a game, sitting in those seats, everyone feels like family. It's a sensation that I've never gotten at a baseball game played anywhere else.
As I said before, the Colorado Rockies are an excellent team. I proudly wear my Colorado Rockies t-shirt everywhere I go!
