If you’re hankering for a great breakfast, or just great food in general, when in Denver you have to stop by The Breakfast King. This restaurant is a throwback to the great diners of yesteryear. The décor of the restaurant is big bright orange booths, with long chrome counter tops, where you can sit and wait to be served awesome food.
The waitresses dress in freshly starched white uniforms, and are friendly and attentive. Don’t let the décor fool you; this place is the best place to go after hitting the late night spots, or to get a huge breakfast, lunch or dinner at great prices.
The Breakfast King is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and you can get any meal, at any time. The Breakfast King has over 300 menu items to choose from. The restaurant is especially busy late at night or in the morning for breakfast. You may have a wait to be seated if you try to go at those times.
The Breakfast King serves almost any type of breakfast one could want. They serve traditional French toast, pancakes, eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, and fruit. They refill your coffee without asking, approximately every 15 minutes. The portions are huge. Two could easily share one breakfast. But the best part is that they have an outstanding southwestern breakfast menu offerings, which include breakfast burritos, huevos, and pork green chili.
The lunch and dinner offerings are standard diner fare. A lot of their menu items are homemade. Most meals with beverage will cost between $5-$7 per person. This is a great place to take your family. Kids have many menu options
