Monaco Inn

Monaco Inn is one of my favorite Denver restaurants, and it serves great Greek food. You are served by a friendly waiter who brings you a basket of hot, fresh pita bread... slathered with butter…mmmmm!!!!

Decorated in a simple, classic theme this restaurant has beautiful murals of Greece decorating the walls, and the ceiling is painted to look like the sky.

We like to order the Saganaki for a special appetizer. Saganaki is cheese doused with brandy and then set on fire. The fire is then quenched with a lemon. The result is crispy on the outside, "melty" on the inside - lemony and delicious all over. It doesn’t last long! Opa!

<img src= I usually order the gyros sandwich, and in my opinion the Greek potatoes - spiced with pepper, lemon, olive oil, and oregano - is their best side.

They also serve Mexican and American food.

If you have room left, they have superb baklava for dessert.

The food is prepared by Terry Vaidas, who has been chef since the restaurant opened for business. They do not use any MSG or preservatives.

They also offer a bar.

The restaurant often runs specials.

Some of the best Denver Greek food!
