Mead Street Station Grill and BarMead Street Station Grill and Bar, located at 3625 West 32nd Avenue, is by far one of the coolest spots in Denver. I was told that it has the reputation of being a popular restaurant and bar for locals.I went there for lunch on New Year’s Eve and lucked out by snagging the last empty table. It was a packed house and I had a good time "people watching." It was one of the coldest days we had all year so I ordered the chicken enchilada soup and a side of their homemade macaroni and cheese. Upon entering, I noticed the natural wood. It gives the restaurant a warm, cozy look and instantly gave me a laid-back, welcoming feeling. The interior reminded me of a Wild West bar with beautiful, creaky old wooden floors.
The menu was one of the largest that I’ve seen. I wanted to order everything! Although the place was packed, the servers and cooks seemed to keep up with the pace and appeared to actually be enjoying their work.
