La Loma Denver

You've got to try La Loma Denver!

I visited La Loma for dinner on New Year’s Eve before going out for the night. La Loma is a great Denver Mexican restaurant located on West 26th Avenue. A friend brought me here for the first time and I loved it. The enchiladas was recommended, but both the green and red sauces had pork (which I don’t eat) in them. I ended up ordering the chicken flautas which turned out to be great.

One warning for those ordering drinks-- the large margarita is 40 ounces so maybe stick with the small or medium sizes. Once again, I was impressed with a Denver restaurant. Mexican food ofetn tastes all the same to me, but this restaurant was different. I could pick out a variety of flavors and everything tasted fresh.

The art on the walls was especially enjoyable to look at while dining. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food then I would direct you to La Loma. You will want to go back again and again.
