I Loved the Tivoli Lodge Hotel

by Rebecca
(Toledo, OH)

The Tivoli Lodge Hotel is the only ski lodge that I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. I don't really have anything else to compare it. However, in spite of that, I had an amazing time there, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The Tivoli Lodge looks exactly the way I'd always imagined a ski lodge would look. The rooms are the perfect combination of luxurious and rustic. I love the atmosphere there. It was the perfect place to come back to and warm up after a busy day on the slopes.

We started off every morning of the trip with a wonderful breakfast at the buffet. I'm not usually a big breakfast eater, but the food was so tasty that I was happy to eat it. It was a good thing too, since all the skiing took up a lot of my energy.

I loved being so close to Vail Village. I didn't want to spend all my day skiing, and it being so close to the hotel made it perfect for quick visits. The staff was incredibly friendly and nice, and they were always recommending places and things for me to check out. I really feel as though they helped me to get more out of my trip.

I'd definitely suggest the Tivoli Lodge to anyone planning a Colorado ski trip. I had such a good time there, and I can't wait to go again. I know there are many other lodges out there that I could give a try, but I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
