Glenwood Caverns Adventure Playground

My favorite thing to do in Colorado is to visit the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Playground. It is in the historic Glenwood Springs area in the Rocky Mountains. This park is full of adventures that are enjoyable for all members of your family.
Go underground to explore Glenwood Caverns and the History Fairy Caves. Or try the bungee trampoline. Or ride Demon the Mechanical Bull - riders of all ages can pick the level of intensity that suits them.
You can also rock climb on the climbing wall. Or the kids can venture into Fort Whereami maze, where they can race each other or race against the clock to win fun prizes. Or enjoy many of the thrill rides including the only alpine coaster and the giant swing.
You and your family can also pan for gemstones, or dig for fossils.
Or enjoy the first 4D theater in Colorado (the cost of admission is included in the day pass). Play laser tag with the whole family and experience an old West shoot-out using new wireless laser technology.
While you’re there don’t forget to take a ride on the Conestoga wagon, where you’ll travel back in time. The wagon bounces and bumps through the trails.
... and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Before your visit to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Playground ends stop by Old Tyme Photography Studio to capture a memory that you and your family will treasure. There are old time costumes to fit babies to adults, and plenty of props that you can choose from to make your photo as realistic as possible.
