The Stanley Hotel is the most well-known of Estes Park hotels. It is steeped in history and tradition and has even served as the inspiration of a famous book by a well known author. Many famous people such as Molly Brown, John Phillip Sousa, Theodore Roosevelt, Stephen King, and the Emperor and Empress of Japan have stayed at The Stanley.
