Denver Broncos - Reasons for Greatness

I would have to say that the Denver Broncos are my favorite Denver Colorado sports team. The reason for this would be the amount of tradition that lives in Mile High Stadium, the stadium of the Denver Broncos. It is nationally recognized as being the stadium that provides the greatest amount of home field advantage. The reason for this is the stadium being literally a mile above sea level.

Having this great home field advantage, in turn creates a lot of wins for the team. And who doesn’t like a winning team? Of course, having this advantage would be pointless without having a good team, which is what the Denver Broncos are.

They have a fantastic offensive line which gives they’re quarterback, Kyle Orton plenty of time to get the ball to his number of reliable receivers. His main target would be Brandon Marshall who is arguably one of the greatest receivers in the National Football League. He also has Brandon Stokley who is an outstanding slot receiver. They also have a phenomenal defense that is anchored down by the perennial superstar in Brian Dawkins and Champ Bailey. Brian Dawkins is a hard hitting safety that is feared throughout the league. Champ Bailey is a shutdown corner which all quarterbacks despise about playing the Broncos. He makes even the greatest quarterback-receiver duo look out of sync. Although not having the greatest season this past year, the team is only looking to improve. I would consider them to have a great chance to make the playoffs come the 2010-2011 season.
