Denver Art Museum
The Denver Art Museum features over 60,000 pieces of artwork from all over the world. In 2006, the museum gained a new addition: the Frederic C. Hamilton building. This building was constructed with titanium and glass, and the inside design is as artistic as the outside. The unusual architecture alone is worth a visit to the museum.
My personal favorite museum piece is a sculpture called "Fox Games" by Sandy Skoglund. The facility is also home to "Linda," a popular sculpture of a woman made of polyvinyl. Cameras are allowed inside the museum, but only for personal use. They must be handheld and have an attached flash. The museum allows strollers and backpacks for children. Wheelchairs and strollers are available.
