The Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Showcase is such an incredible Denver event! It's a great place to learn about Indian heritage.
The Denver Indian Market holds the showcase every year around January. It is a three day event that is typically held at the Denver Merchandise Mart.
At the Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Showcase there is so much to see and do! My family goes every year, and we always start the beginning of each three days off the same way: getting the kids' faces painted. They just love it! Kids can also enjoy watching the shows made just for them, like the magic shows and balloon animals.
Our family loves to watch all of the great performances that the showcase puts on. They always have great entertainment with Native American music, and shows with incredible dancing. They also have hypnotists, comedians, and cowboy shows with whips!
Another one of the many things to do while at the Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Showcase is to take a look at all of the beautiful handmade jewelery that they have. You can even buy some!
While you're there, you just have to try some of the food! If you don't usually east Indian food at home, this is a great opportunity to try some! All of the food is cooked up fresh. You can try all sorts of chilis, stews, and even a few Indian sweets!
At $10 per person, the Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Showcase is a fun and inexpensive way to have fun with your family!
