Colorado Day Trips
There are plenty of options for Colorado day trips while you are visiting Denver. You could drive into the Rocky Mountains or visit quaint little towns like Estes Park and Cripple Creek. Outdoor sports like fishing, hiking, and skiing draw thousands of visitors to the Colorado mountains each year.
There are also great places to go for Colorado day trips that aren’t actually in the mountains, such as Colorado Springs. You could spend a week in the Colorado Springs area and still not see all of the attractions. Our favorite day trip is Estes Park. We visit at least a couple times a year and always look forward to the next trip.
