Children's Museum of Denver

Take Your Kids!I am the parent of three small children and finding vacation activities they'll all enjoy is always tough. My family tends not to take trips to kid-centric places like Disney World. When we decided to go to Denver, I wasn't sure what I'd do to make sure they enjoyed the trip. Thankfully, we found the Children's Museum of Denver.
The museum is completely full of hands on activities for small children. Outdoors, they have a wonderful playground that kids can enjoy if it's a pretty day. Though some of the play areas are very loud, the museum is also full of quiet areas that are great for a parent who just wants to relax and have a little peace. My children loved coloring and listening to the storytellers there.
One of my sons is very interested in firefighters, and he went absolutely nuts over the fire station that they have there. All of my children loved the market where they could shop They really loved the puppet theater. They also were thrilled to be able to make art projects there. I think my kids would have happily spent the whole vacation there if I had let them.
I would recommend taking a trip to the Children's Museum of Denver to anyone who is a parent of young children like me. If your children are older, over 9 or so, they might not enjoy it as much. It is geared much more towards small kids. Still, it is a great time, and for young kids, it should not be missed.
