The zoo is very family friendly, with a petting zoo, and ‘My Big Backyard’ a special play area for kids with ponds and fun things to do, as well as a misting water play area to play in. All around the zoo they have misting fans, which are really nice on a hot day! There are wallabies, (like little kangaroos) and you can even see a porcupine.
