Celestial Seasonings Tea

One of our best-loved activities during our Colorado vacation was a visit to the Celestial Seasonings Tea factory in Boulder, Colorado. My husband and I are avid tea drinkers and Celestial Seasonings teas are certainly on our shelves, so learning more about this line of tea on the factory tour was a great experience.

My husband and I loved the chance to see the real-life versions of the beautiful artwork on the tea boxes. The paintings were even more gorgeous in their full size and truly made us appreciate all of the small details that can get lost on a tiny tea box. The best part of the tour was when we were given the chance to brave the pungent odor of the mint room, an experience unlike anything we ever expected.

I truly enjoyed seeing the factory machinery used to get the tea from start to finish because the ingenious designs that have been created to achieve such specific purposes are fascinating.

In addition, our delightful tour guide made the whole tour quite enjoyable and held our interest easily from start to finish. After the tour we loved shopping the factory store and stocking up on all of our favorite flavors of tea for ourselves and as souvenirs for everyone back home.

Overall, this was one of the best factory tours I have been on, with aspects appealing to both children and adults. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in factory tours or tea!
