I ran into Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets in a flower shop while buying flowers for my anniversary. We each had to wait a few minutes for our flowers, so I asked him a few questions about the team. He was kind and seemed genuinely interested in talking with a fan. On his way out he even asked if I was coming to the game that evening – obviously I couldn’t, or it would have been my last anniversary. |
