South American Cuisine At Its Finest


Looking to try something different for dinner in Denver? Ever had South American food? Do you like fresh, spicy, eclectic food combinations? Then Café Brazil is the place you should visit for dinner when in Denver.

Café Brazil is one of Denver’s best restaurants. This restaurant has won many awards and accolades for their food and service. It was named Best Brazilian food, by Where the Locals Eat, in 2009. Café Brazil has been Zagat rated since 1999, and has been written up by many food critics as an outstanding restaurant. Dinner is served from 5 to 10 PM Tuesday through Saturday.

The appetizers on the menu are delectable. Try the lulu frita $12.95, which is fried calamari, served with an herbed tomato sauce, or the Camarao Brazil $12.95, which is large prawns served in a spicy black bean sauce.

For dinner, entrees range in price from $15.95 to 21.95. There are 13 selections to choose from. Recommended choices are the Seafood Copacabana, which is shrimp and scallops sautéed with garlic, coconut milk, and lime juice. This dish is served with a Parmegian cheese, white wine sauce $19.95. Also try the Xim Xim $18.95. This dinner is comprised of a seasoned chicken breast with jumbo prawns, prepared in a fresh ginger sauce. They are seasoned with pepper, lemon, lime, cashews, and oil. The entrée comes with a garnish of toasted coconut and rice with vegetables. Lastly, one should try Café Brazil black bean stew. It is a traditional meal in Brazil, and it is wonderfully spicy $15.95. Side orders one should tried are the fried bananas $5.00, or the black bean soup $4.00.

Café Brazil also has its famed Rum Room. This is a place where one can try over 75 different types of run manufactured throughout the world. Happy Hour is Tuesday through Thursday 4:30PM to 6:30 PM. Friday and Saturday 9:30PM till close.

Café Brazil is a wonderful restaurant with flavorful South American food. It is truly one of Denver’s best restaurants!
