What can you do while you're there? A favorite Boulder Colorado activity is the Pearl Street Mall shopping district. Covering four blocks, this mall is only pedestrian (no cars are allowed). It's fun to walk down and look in the art galleries and locally owned shops. You might stop for a bite in one of the many unique restaurants, or stop and enjoy the street musicians and performers. There is also a fountain in the summer for kids to play in and cool off, and rocks and statues to climb on.
In the winter there is the Lights of December Parade or Saint Nick on the Bricks. At Halloween you might enjoy taking your kids to the Munchkin Masquerade. Shops all along the mall give out candy to trick or treaters. We were there during this, and it was a zoo - crowds of people with their kids all dressed up, having loads of fun.. The exterior shots of Mindy's Victorian house was a Boulder private residence. The house is still there (it's now a private residence) and it's located on 1619 Pine Street.
