Botanic Gardens at Chatfield

Located near Chatfield State Park, with gorgeous views of the foothills, Botanic Gardens at Chatfield offers nature trails and wildlife observation.

There is a barn, silo, 1800's schoolhouse, and some farm buildings to see, as well as live sheep, goats, and chickens.

In the summer you can see the working beehive exhibit and the native plants garden.

Hours:
Daily, 9am to 5pm

Closed on Thanksgiving and the day after, as well as on Christmas and New Year's Day.

Admission:
$5 per vehicle. If you are a Denver Botanic Gardens member, admission is free.

During the fall, there is an 8.5 acre corn maze, as well as a haunted house.

Corn Maze Admission Prices:
Adults: $10 ($8 if you are a member)
Children (ages 3-12): $5 ($4 if you are a member)
Seniors & Students: $8

Corn Maze Hours:
Friday - Sunday from September 4 through October 31, 2009.

Fridays: 4pm to 10pm
Saturdays: 10am to 10pm
Sundays: 12pm to 10pm

There is also a small tree-house and stream for children to play at year-round.
