Bonnie Brae TavernBonnie Brae Tavern opened in 1934. It was started by Carl Dire, son of an Italian Immigrant, and his wife Sue. Eventually they lived in an apartment over the restaurant. They have passed away but the restaurant is still a Denver favorite, maintaining the original look.

You can also purchase ice cream in containers to take with you, and they have ice cream cakes for sale. There is a nice patio to sit on, as well as some indoor seating.
