Advice from a Native
by Kendra
Colorado has something for everyone. I'm a native of Colorado, and I never run out of new places to exoplore or new things to experience.
Everyone I have meet that has moved here from another state absolutely loves it.
Some suggestions: People watching in downtown Denver, shopping, the Denver Zoo, and of course my favorite, the Denver Art museum.
If you ever visit Denver you absolutely have to visit Six Flags, climb the sight tower, and look out at the city (breathtaking).
Move west from Denver and you quickly get into the Rocky Mountains. and There the choices are almost limitless: Skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, white water rafting, sightseeing. I have lived in Colorado my entire life, and I am still awestruck by the size of the mountains as we drive the winding roadings.
Most years, camping is my vacation. There's nothing like a campfire and the smell of pine trees.
Just remember ALWAYS bring sunscreen and clothing for both extreme cold and hot weather, it's not that uncommon to have a 70* day then have snow the next (have an extra coat in the car). Get lots of rest, and have a plan.
