Yard House Denver

By Leslie

My friend and I recently spent an evening in downtown Denver. While looking for a good place to eat, we noticed a sign that said something like "great food, classic rock, and a large selection of draft beers." We soon found out that this place is well known for its large beer selection-- somewhere around 100!

Inside looked nice-- dim lighting and a large bar area. The menu had so many things that sounded good. I started with their snack size sweet potato fries (which was enough for two people), and then after a little indecision I decided to order the Southern fried chicken (basically chicken fried chicken), mashed potatoes with spinach and corn, and a bourbon gravy. It was so good!

Every employee that I encountered was on top of everything. I never I had to wait long for anything I asked.

The menu prices ranged from about $12-$25 and included burgers, seafood, steaks, and pasta, as well as other items like turkey pot pie, chicken macaroni and cheese, and jambalaya. One thing I noticed was that many of their menu items had a meat substitute option, rather than chicken or beef.

I will definitely try and make it back to Yard House. Loved it!
